Resplendent, in Tribal gear, 65 year old Buffy Saint Marie honored us with anthems, including Universal Soldier on the Independence Ave side of the DC Mall, at our March marking the start of the 6th year of War and Occupation for Profit

After Scaling a 10 foot high wrought iron fence, at the top of the National Archives steps, and taking the high ground, 30 feet above the throng, our WINTER SOLDIERS educate the 1,500 tourists who wrap around the Archives Constitution Ave and 9th St, NW, sides, lined up for security checks, underneath IVAW.
    Folks have to realize that we Vets take the Oath to Protect and Defend the Constitution against ALL enemies, Foreign and Domestic, including our Treasonous Commander-in-Chief, GW Bush.
    This OATH NEVER expires !

This pic gives a better illustration of the depth of the crowd of tourists and gawkers being educated.
There is a 24 foot wide ramp that leads down a slope, directly towards our heroes, to get the Tourists into the Archives' basement security posts. 
    A huge reproduction of the Preamble, and the part of the Constitution establishing "co-equal" divisions between the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches, was unfurled, and attached to the wall, at the bottom of the ramp, and a 40 foot section actually served as a carpet to the ramp, helping the tourists understand that they, as well as Bush, are trampling on the Constitution, as long as they fail to protest Bush and his UNITARY Executive Branch usurping the Legislative and Judiciary Powers of our Constitution.
 
The Constitution, an antiquated piece of parchment that embodies the most noble foundations for a free and just government, is currently under siege

The Police, in a move reminiscent of VVAW's Dewey Canyon III demos, 37 years ago, negotiated a plea deal, with our Winter Soldiers:  "Come down, after 90 minutes, and nobody gets arrested"

We packed up our Citizens' Warrant for the Arrest of Bush & Cheney, and marched up Constitution Ave to the Justice Department

Hastily assembled, and heavily armed SWAT TEAMS assure Iraq Veterans Against the War that there's NO JUSTICE, @ the Justice Department.  The SWAT TEAMS had respect for our Veterans.
